Robert and Amy

March 2014
Rob and Amy met in July of 2010 while attending Southern Utah University. That spring they learned that blessings really do come from fulfilling your calling. He was her Home Teacher and She was his Family Home Evening Group Coordinator. It was a fast friendship that turned into courtship even faster. On May 9, 2010 Rob proposed in the quiet of the living room with no one around to witness the utter shock on Amy's face who was planning on an engagement the following spring. After a two month engagement they were married for Time and Eternity on July 27, 2010 in the St. George Utah Temple.
They welcomed their first child on April 11, 2011. A wild and independent 3 year old named Peter. He is very into dump trucks, construction stuff, dinosaurs, and all things fire station. He loves to have real conversations, and asks really good questions. He also spends a significant time in the world of make believe where he pretends to be some sort of animal or assigns everyone a new identity.
On December 27, 2012 their second son Eli joined the trio. He is a shy 1 year old who loves his blanket and his daddy. He loves to play with cars, and make noises for animals.
Robert is currently in training for the US Army. Although the time apart is hard he is thriving. He loves Army life way more than he could have ever anticipated. At this point he is planning on making a career of it, and along with Amy, is really looking forward to the adventures it will bring.
Amy is a stay at home momma. She loves to cook, and come up with new ways to entertain the kids.
Rob and Amy are expecting their third son due mid-July.
Rob has a Bachelors of Arts in Communication, with a emphasis in Outdoor Recreation. Amy has a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development. Although neither of them are working in a field where their degree is required, both gained valuable skills through their education, and use they things they learned daily.
